Annual Meeting
Thursday, May 3rd at the Sylvan Lake Lutheran Church at 7:00 pm.
New Directory
The Hammond Lake Directory is being updated and will be
re-printed and distributed in May. If you have any changes to your listing
or wish to place an ad in this issue, please contact Carla Johnson at (248)
338-7798 by 5/15/07.
Fireworks
The HLCA Fireworks are scheduled for Saturday, July 07, with a
"Rain Date" of Sunday, July 08. This event is dependant on adequate funding and
membership participation as of the May 3rd Annual Meeting.
Membership
We need all of you to support our community. Your dues pay
for insurance, maintenance of association owned properties, improvements to
signage, plantings, communication, and the modest cost of conducting meetings.
Board Members
We need two members of the community to step forward and commit
their time to the betterment of our neighborhood. Twelve one-hour meetings
per year (one per month) and your concern is all it takes. If you care
about where you live, please come aboard.
Improvements
The Beach has new sand. M&M Contracting and Carla Johnson are to
be thanked for this. New gates are in the works. 2007 keys and
passes will be available at the Annual Meeting
Special Thanks
To Doug Furdock for his three years of service o nthe HLCA Board
of Directors. To Jim Kenrick for his attention to the details at our sign
plantings.

To be announced at the Annual Meeting: The Board of Directors
has elected a new President and Vice President for the 2007/2008 term.
This is the current President's last newsletter. it has been an honor to
